Naughty Bear is the title of an upcoming video game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. Players will control the eponymous bear as they use various weapons to earn 'Naughty Points', with extra points being given for 'deviant and maniacal' tactics. The game sets out on a island where teddy bears live in quiet and happiness, Except for Naughty Bear that is. The main character of the game is a scratched, ruffed up teddy bear who is often the scapegoat of everyones problems. Like all the other teddy bears, he doesn't speak, and instead uses sounds like grunts, screams, laughs, etc. The story has a British-accented narrarator who speaks in such a manor where he sometimes asks Naughty Bear questions on what he thinks or what he plans to do next. You start out learning that the whole island is having a big birthday party, and when Naughty Bear tries to go to it, the bears stop him and tease him causing him to slink back to his house in shame.
At home, he decides to get back at all the bears for snubbing him. And from here he goes on a murderous rampage. The game is set out like Grand Theft Auto, where instead of earning money you earn Naughty Points.
T For Teen
You have an objective but can stray from it to cause trouble. There are 3 main ways to go at this: 1. Psp ofw 1.50. You can grab a weapon, hop in a car and start killing bears. You can avoid conflict and try to stay out of as much trouble as possible. You can toy with your enemy. Many of the people who tried the game preferred the 3rd option, as it earns you the most 'Naughty Points'.
An example of this is first to sabotage a bears car. Then scare him and start to throw rocks at him. After this he'll start to pace with frustration, while he is distracted you can steal his Cupcake lunch and throw it into the fire where he might catch on fire trying to rereive it. If you torture him enough, the bear will commit a form of suicide where his head explodes. This method gives you the most points. Earning enough points will unlock special weapons and outifts that can give Naughty Bear special powers such a Voodoo. There is a hidden catch to this though, cause enough trouble and the Teddy Bear Police, S.W.A.T.
Or Army will come after you depending on how Naughty you are. You can also do things such as robbing a house. Make sure you sabotage the phones first so the owner can't call the authorities. The game also has a multiplayer option with games such as Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, and Verses. Not much is known though, since the demo did not include any multiplayer content. As far as we know, the multiplayer will for sure be able to be played off of the internet with split screen.
Whether or not it can be played over the internet has yet to be announced.
