With Windows Server 2008 you can configure four types of scripts: Computer Startup Executed during startup; Computer Shutdown Executed prior to shutdown; User Logon.

If you want to add a program that runs at startup for every user in Windows 2000, navigate to the following key: HKEYLOCALMACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun and add a new String value.
